The images I am sending are intended to show you the difference in grout tones. Grout makes or brakes : the tile. I would use the white unless you are really good at caulking. Before I answer your question, keep in mind that once you post a dilemma here on Houzz, you will get responses that go beyond your original question. My first reaction is that the tile does not work well with your granite.
If you're not replacing the counter tops, a better choice would be a warm white or beige tile. If you are replacing them, then select and install them first and then choose a backsplash tile. Also you're showing the tile horizontally, and you'd get a better feel for the look if you hold the tiles vertically, against the wall, which is how they will appear when installed.
To answer your original question, a cool white or very light gray grout would work best with the blue-gray tiles. Thank you for the feedback. When I run a glass border or do a glass mosaic panel, I use clear or translucent caulk. It is very slow and tedious and really not recommended for large areas.
You need to be sure the thinset has been cleared away from the joints. Then you try to fill the joints avoiding overflow but any excess caulk needs to be wiped away immediately. The faster you fill the joints the more likely you will get air pockets which lead to shrinkage. Before you try this do a test area to see if you like it. I keep the caulk low in the joint not flush so I can see the glass edges which maintains that "groutless" look.
Clear caulk comes out white and cures to clear. Translucent comes out white and cures to a "frosted" look. Basically, it's a labor of love. My hat is off to the tiler who is willing to do this no matter what you pay him per hour.
