The Bible is the holy scripture of the Christian religion, purporting to tell the history of the Earth from its earliest creation to the spread of Christianity in the first century A. Both the Old Testament and the New Testament have undergone changes over the centuries, The Great Awakening was a religious revival that impacted the English colonies in America during the s and s.

The movement came at a time when the idea of secular rationalism was being emphasized, and passion for religion had grown stale. Christian leaders often traveled The zombie, often portrayed as an undead, flesh-eating, decaying corpse, has enjoyed a popularity surge in recent years. The werewolf is a mythological animal and the subject of many stories throughout the world—and more than a few nightmares. Sam and Dean intended to kill him, but they stop themselves.

However, God returns to Earth and kills his grandson before Sam, Dean or Cas have a chance to stop him. Jack ends up in The Empty and comes face to face with Death herself. When season 15 starts off, Jack is still in The Empty — but his vessel is now occupied by the demon Belphegor. Jack is only seen a few times throughout the first half of the season in The Empty, as Billie keeps him hidden until God leaves Earth after fully recovering his powers.

At the beginning of the second half of the season, Billie resurrects Jack once God is gone, telling him that he will eventually become strong enough to kill God and giving him a plan to do so. He breaks down and Cas informs Sam and Dean that Jack has his soul back. Jack Kline started out as a Nephilim, but he became so much more than that. Now that Jack has his soul and his powers back, he seems to be ready to kill God. All Jack ever wanted was to help people and make the world a better place.

There is no telling how big of a role Jack will play in these final seven episodes that start airing on October 8 , but we do know that he is ready for whatever comes his way.

Friday, November 12, He later showed some sympathy towards Castiel for his awkwardness in being around Nick, Lucifer's vessel , as it reminds him of Lucifer, claiming that being around Nick is hard for him too, possibly hinting that he does in fact hold some amount of disdain towards Lucifer.

When fighting Michael, Jack declared himself both as Lucifer's son and a Winchester. Though Nick later tried to bring Lucifer back, Jack intervened and personally sent Lucifer back to the Empty rather than allow his father to be brought back.

Jack cares deeply about others and is bothered greatly when he can't save people or hurts people by accident to the point that he even has nightmares about it. At one point, Jack literally beats himself up after he lost his temper over the murder of Maggie and nearly strangles Nate who he initially believed had killed her to death as a result.

Jack's protective instincts are in fact, so strong that he will retaliate or turn against anyone if they have hurt someone he cares about, as shown when he brutally attacked Michael when he attempted to kill Sam, Dean and Castiel, and later effectively disowned his own father for killing Maggie. He also fell into a deep rage, as Michael's monsters killed the hunters in front of him that forced him to use his powers to obliterate them, despite needing to conserve it to live.

He also used his powers to fight Michael when he possessed Rowena and used his abilities to eject him from her and killed the Archangel. Jack has shown a capacity for self-sacrifice. When Lucifer ordered Sam and Jack to fight to the death with the victor surviving, Jack rejected Sam's offer to kill Sam and live and the idea that he could defeat Lucifer and regain his powers.

Instead, Jack, without hesitation, attempted to sacrifice himself in an act of suicide so that Sam could live on and continue the fight with his planned last words being to tell Sam that he loves everyone. He was only stopped when Dean unexpectedly arrived to fight Lucifer. Because he mostly relied on his powers for everything, Jack felt lost in the weeks after losing them. Slowly, Jack began to feel insignificant because of the threat of Michael loose on the world and himself not being able to do anything to stop it.

Jack's sense of being useless also became more significant when he struggled with trying to adapt to fight like a human until his powers return and felt completely useless when he failed in adjusting to it and was unable to help in the mission to save Castiel, which led him overpowered by the demons holding Castiel prisoner.

This view of himself seemed to have faded away after he managed to save Lora , a girl who had her life taken by a witch who had been stealing her life force and he seemed to feel better about himself. By the time of Dean's return from his possession by Michael, Jack saw the Winchesters and Castiel as his fathers and vice versa.

Despite their rocky start, Jack became particularly close with Dean who taught Jack how to drive on the Impala when he was dying and Jack choosing to do fishing with Dean because he knew it was an activity that Dean had enjoyed doing with his own father. Dean's opinion of Jack was always shown to matter quite a lot to him with Dean's initial impression of Jack as a monster sticking with him even after the two became close, though Dean grew to regret this opinion.

Even when furious with Jack over killing his mother, Dean ultimately couldn't bring himself to kill Jack despite Jack accepting and welcoming his fate. God considered Dean killing Jack to be a father killing his son, showing the depth of the relationship Jack and Dean had developed.

Because of Jack's desire to protect his loved ones, he can show a ruthless side to himself at times. He also blasted away the shapeshifter Buddy when he tried to kill Sam, protected Dean from angels, and killed Alternate Zachariah to save Mary. When alerted of the danger by Sam, Jack returned to the bunker and attacked Alternate Michael for his assault on his family and showed him no mercy as he prepared to act on his promise to kill him.

He later acted upon this promise with no hesitation when he used the power of his soul to kill Michael and use the archangel's grace to restore his own powers, despite the risks of burning off more of his soul. After burning off a large portion of his soul while killing Michael, Jack is shown to be quieter and more reserved then he once was, most likely due to whatever degree of soullessness he is now suffering from.

Though not uncaring, he has stated he feels different then he did, though he is shown still to care for the Winchesters and Castiel, as well as others. Since regaining his power, Jack's old personality of showing them off returns and when hanging out with teenagers, he couldn't help but show off. However, when he accidentally stabs a girl, his sense of guilt returned and he didn't want to have cause another fatality and immediately heals her.

He was distraught that his actions caused the teens to become scared of him and his powers. At the bunker, he withholds the event from the Winchesters since he knew they would be disappointed in him and understood their secret wariness of him. It is eventually revealed that Jack's soul really is gone since killing Michael and he has lost much of his morals as a result. Jack brutally killed Nick for trying to resurrect Lucifer , instead of doing it in a more painless way and in a moment of anger, lost control and accidentally killed Mary Winchester.

Though Jack tried to correct his mistake by bringing Mary back, his hallucinations of Lucifer said that his guilt was merely a reflex left over from when he did possess a soul.

As a result, Jack's subconscious manifested a hallucination of Lucifer to act as sort of his voice of reason. After getting locked in the Ma'lak Box , Jack was distressed to be betrayed, but still couldn't bring himself to seriously harm or kill the Winchesters and Castiel.

After seeing the effects of his making the whole world tell the truth and scaring his grandmother, Jack came to the belief that he truly was the monster Dean first saw him as since every time Jack tried to do good, even without his soul, he caused more harm in the process. As a result, when Dean tried to kill him, Jack accepted and even welcomed his fate, caring enough to want to cause no more harm even when he had no soul and admitted that he could no longer feel emotion such as love.

Following his second resurrection, Jack displays much of his original personality, though he still remains soulless. After seeing the plight of Kaia Nieves , Jack became determined to rescue her even though it put himself at risk.

Jack later told Castiel that he remembered what it was like to feel things and it bothered him that he couldn't, that he could only remember and understand why he had felt such things. He also understood why the Winchesters were angry over Mary's death, but couldn't feel anything about it. Following the restoration of his soul, Jack immediately burst into tears. Having regained his ability to feel, Jack felt immediate remorse for Mary's death and his role in it and begged for forgiveness.

Jack later tells Castiel that he's convinced the Winchesters will only ever forgive him when Jack sacrifices himself to destroy God and the Darkness. As more time passes, Jack is shown to regain his old personality from before losing his soul, though he is somewhat more reserved due to the heavy burden left upon him.

As before, Jack is shown to become easily excited by things such as Dean's idea of how to break through the dungeon door and taking a case. After realizing that they are dealing with a human monster, Jack seems disappointed that they likely won't be staying to solve the case anyway and then pleased when Castiel decides to finish the job since they can help. Jack shows a great deal of empathy throughout the case, connecting with Sylvia over the loss of her mother, offering her his help since Jack can sense the great pain he is in and even comforting Castiel while revealing that he must sacrifice himself to save the world.

After the failed attempt on God's life leaves Jack powerless, he is shown to be concerned about what comes next and the fact that Jack can't protect those that he loves in his current state. Before leaving, Lucifer and Chloe admitted their feelings for each other and he resumed his rule over Hell. After thousands of years, Lucifer was forced to return when his twin brother Michael showed up on Earth and started impersonating him in an effort to ruin his reputation.

His relationship with Chloe deteriorates after she finally learned that she was a gift from God for Lucifer.

After learning from Michael that he had been manipulated into carrying out nefarious acts which included his vacation to Earth, Lucifer faced an identity crisis and questioned whether his actions were ever a result of his own autonomous decisions.

Lucifer and Chloe were able to see past their issues and finally became a couple, but things took a turn when Lucifer's mojo passed on to Chloe, and he became invulnerable even whilst in the presence of his girlfriend. After Chloe was kidnapped by his twin and subsequently rescued, Lucifer was forced to finally confront his true feelings for her but was halted when Michael instigates Amenadiel into stopping time and starts an altercation.

Their intense sibling squabble was broken up, however, when God showed up. God eventually revealed that he was going to retire, leading to a conflict between Lucifer and Michael over who would take his place, which ended with Michael apparently victorious. However, after Michael killed Chloe, Lucifer sacrificed himself to return to Heaven and resurrect her, while also finally admitting his love for her.

Lucifer's selfless action resulted in his own resurrection as the new God with all who were present taking a knee before him. Feeling that he is not the right person for the job, Lucifer abandoned his decision to become God. He is surprised when his future daughter, Aurora Morningstar , confronts him from her timeline for answers on why he abandoned her and Chloe. Despite not being able to figure out why, Lucifer proved that he loved Rory and would never leave her intentionally out of malice, leading to their reconciliation.

After helping Daniel Espinoza to accept his guilt and ascend into Heaven as well as dissuading Aurora from killing Vincent Le Mec, Lucifer eventually realized that his true calling was to help heal the damned souls of Hell so that they too could be redeemed. After receiving blessings from Chloe and Rory, he departed to Hell and became its new therapist while his eldest and closest brother Amenadiel became the new God. Decades later, after dying of old age, Chloe is reunited with Lucifer in Hell, willingly joining him as his eternal partner in Lucifer's mission.

After his rebellion, Lucifer was cast out of Heaven to rule Hell and punish the dead guilty for all eternity. Originally, Lucifer was known as Samael , or The Lightbringer , though he eventually became better known as Lucifer. Coming into existence along with all the other angels before the creation of the Universe. He was the brightest and most powerful of all of God 's Angels. He was thought to be God's favorite, but when Lucifer rebelled and led a vast rebellion , with the plan to overthrow his father God, God cast him out of Heaven, tasking him to be the ruler of Hell and to punish the souls of deceased sinners for all eternity.

Lucifer reluctantly ruled Hell for millennia, gaining an incredibly fearsome, notorious and terrifying reputation as the personification of evil, conceived in many cultures and religious traditions. Before his first stay in Eden with Eve , and even Adam , Lucifer became the first, oldest, and best friend of Lilith , who had been banished of Eden by God because she refused to remain married to Adam, and was replaced by Eve.

When Lilith gave birth to her children: thousands of demons called the Lilim , she sent them to Hell to serve Lucifer as his army. One of them, Mazikeen , became Lucifer's best friend, bodyguard, and loyal soldier. Throughout the years, Lucifer would occasionally visit Earth.

Amenadiel would then always come to take Lucifer back to Hell. In " City of Angels? Lucifer befriended King Tutankhamen of Egypt at some point and engaged in a "human train" orgy with Caligula numbering 37 people. He met private investigator Jack Monroe at some point. In , Lucifer was called by Lilith to New York City to find her ring ; since he owed her a favor for sending the Lilim to Hell to serve as his army. Lilith put her immortality in the ring and gave it to Lucifer, asking him to never tell her children what happened to her.

In , Lucifer made a deal with Elvis Presley to help him fake his death, presumably helping him get a new identity. Lucifer became the sole individual to know where "The King" relocated to.

In , Lucifer decided to retire from ruling Hell and moved to Los Angeles. Needing the help of his demon soldier, friend, and servant, Mazikeen , to help locate Amenadiel's lost [Amenadiel's necklace necklace]], Lucifer made a deal with John Constantine of Earth-1 to let her out; thus Lucifer owed Constantine a favor. Following the retrieval of the necklace, Lucifer cashed in the favor Amenadiel owed him to leave him and Mazikeen alone on Earth.

To ensure he could not be tempted to return to Hell, Lucifer had Mazikeen sever his angel wings , signifying him leaving his old life behind.

Lucifer then opened the nightclub Lux with Maze's assistance. Some years later, Lucifer became aware of The Anti-Monitor Crisis impacting the Multiverse , leading to John Constantine returning in order to cash in his favor. Meeting John's fellow compatriots, John Diggle and Mia Smoak , Lucifer aided them in retrieving the soul of Oliver Queen by gifting them a Purgatory Teleportation Card , allowing the trio to venture into Purgatory for a limited amount of time.

Despite being aware of the Crisis, Lucifer was evidently indifferent toward the situation and returned to his activities as normal.

After the Multiverse was destroyed, Lucifer returned to his life as normal once the Paragons and Spectre rebooted the Multiverse; though Lucifer's history was altered so that he personally brought Maze to Earth. By , Lucifer had settled into a hedonistic lifestyle in Los Angeles revolving around running Lux and making Faustian deals with various people in various industries in exchange for favors. But then one night he witnessed the murder of a close acquaintance.

Lacking faith in the L. At the start of the " Pilot ", Lucifer is pulled over for speeding. After bribing his way out, he continues to his nightclub, Lux. Later that evening, burnt-out singer Delilah visits Lux to see Lucifer, who advises her to clean up her act. As he walks her down the street, Delilah is gunned down by a low-level drug dealer.

Lacking faith in the LAPD, Lucifer takes matters into his own hands and follows up on some leads of his own, which inevitably causes him to cross paths with detective Chloe Decker , who had previously interviewed Lucifer about the shooting.

Lucifer convinces her to allow him to accompany her on the investigation through the use of his powers, though she remains oblivious to his true identity. Lucifer was extremely magnetic to people but Chloe was immune to his "charms". The investigation leads the duo to Delilah's producer , who reveals he had her killed to benefit from skyrocketing sales of her album after her death.

In desperation, the producer shoots Chloe having just previously been shot by her and tries to shoot Lucifer but being immortal, the bullets have no effect on him. Lucifer picks up the producer by the neck turns him to face the mirror and vows to punish him severely, leaving his fate ambiguous. Lucifer later visits Chloe at the hospital. Amenadiel confronts him about the consequences of his desertion. In " Once Upon a Time ", God creates an alternate universe that was completely identical to the original universe up to John Decker 's murder.

In this reality John survived and thus Chloe remained an actress, resulting in Lucifer and Chloe not meeting on the night of Delilah's murder. Lucifer remained an arrogant club owner and in was planning to expand Lux to Las Vegas, with his lawyer Charlotte Richards who never died. In " Who's da New King of Hell?

He's seen sitting on his towering throne overlooking the grim and ash-covered realm of Hell. Lucifer is content when he returns to his former position of ruling Hell , but he still longs for Los Angeles and to be reunited with the Detective. In an attempt to feel close to her again, he begins helping a newcomer to Hell solve his murder in hopes that Decker will, simultaneously, be attempting to solve the murder too on Earth. He is successful in gaining leads, and when the opportunity arises, he sends Gromos to Earth to deliver a message; despite his wishes, however, he remains in Hell.

In a shocking turn of events, Amenadiel visits Lucifer in Hell to explain that Michael — sick and tired of Humanity and Heaven 's love for Lucifer — has come to Earth impersonating him in an effort to ruin his life and reputation.

Lucifer agrees to return to Earth, leaving Amenadiel in charge if Hell, in order to stop Michael, but finds that things are very different between him and Chloe. Chloe is angry that Lucifer did not tell her about the fact that she is a "gift from God ", however, Lucifer dismisses her, citing that he doesn't care whether she was made for him, or not.

Lucifer begins working alongside Decker again but finds that he has also alienated Mazikeen , who attacks him in a fury of rage for not taking her back to Hell with him. He remarks that she's no longer his servant and can return to Hell whenever she wishes, and that she could have asked Amenadiel to transport her.

Lucifer eventually meets with his brother, Michael , and the two talk. Michael rebukes Lucifer, citing that all of his actions have been influenced by Michael's whispers, but Lucifer finds this hard to believe and scar his face with one of Mazikeen's blades.

Things become increasingly complex between Lucifer and Chloe when they begin sleeping together, and Lucifer finds that he is no longer able to draw out people's desires. Instead, Chloe is able to perform this on him, which both shocks and worries the two of them. Following the loss of his "mojo", Lucifer feels he is useless in the partnership between himself and Chloe, given he no longer contributes anything. This situation becomes increasingly complex when Daniel shoots Lucifer on Michael 's orders following a glimpse of his devil face previously.

After contemplating the situation, and speaking with Amenadiel , it's revealed that the "gift" is that Chloe is able to see Lucifer's vulnerability, and in turn, he chose to be vulnerable around her. This discovery coincided with the return of Lucifer's abilities. After things with Michael become increasingly complex, Lucifer loses Mazikeen 's trust, and she aligns herself with Michael.

This leads to a battle: Lucifer and Amenadiel vs. Maze and Michael. The battle is interrupted, however, when God returns to Earth to stop the fighting between his children. Even though Lucifer is an extremely powerful celestial being, the strongest of all Angels , and one of the oldest and most powerful beings in the Universe , he still has certain weaknesses.

After Lucifer purposefully makes himself vulnerable to Rory, Linda realizes that his conscious and subconscious minds are now working together and Lucifer can control his self-actualization. In his Human Form, Lucifer is a 6' 4" sexy, magnetic, charismatic, devilishly-handsome, incredibly charming, dark-haired man with a model-like face and a muscular body.

Lucifer often sports expensive dark suits. He also has a very sophisticated RP English accent, which people usually find "very charming. However, upon regaining his wings, the scars disappeared. It is unknown what Lucifer's bank account is worth, he has shown all throughout the series with an unlimited amount of cash and gold. He is a multi-billionaire, as Chloe Decker stated in season 4 comparing him to murder suspect Anders Brody "you both have more in common than you think Lucifer's Devil appearance consists of terrifying, monstrous red skin, blazing, fiery-red eyes, gold teeth, and fingernail claws.

He becomes hairless and appears to be burned and scarred, with the shape of the skull being more distinct and many scar-like markings on the forehead. It usually petrifies anyone who sees it, but it has less of an effect on those who have actually been to Hell, such as Malcolm Graham.

Lucifer gained his Devil Face because of his self-hatred and judged himself a monster causing him to gain a petrifying monstrous appearance.
